 Rick pioneered and founded the TV/Retail fitness industry in the mid 1980’s and early 1990’s with his company Fitness Quest.  He had a string of exercise equipment successes with the Trim Track, Gut Buster, Abdomenizer endorsed by Charlene Tilton of Dallas, the Easy Glider skier endorsed by Vana White, the Fit One skier endorsed by Joe Monanta, and the The Step endorsed by Jane Fonda.  Fitness Quest grew to $113,000,000 in sales with 350 employees. He sold Fitness Quest to Time Warner in 1994, and the company hit $435,000,000 in sales, with one of their products being the Total Gym endorsed by Chuck Norris and Christy Brinkley.   

Rick pursued other non-fitness ventures for a time and eventually wrote a book, The Lost Secret, and was in full time ministry. A person on his ministry staff approached him with a drawing of a new and innovative piece of exercise equipment – the BallBike.  He asked Rick what he thought of it, and his response was, “That’s the greatest piece of exercise equipment I have ever seen, and I’ve seen them all”.Rick felt lead to return to business and founded Fit One, to market the revolutionary industry disrupting BallBike.

Gretchen Watson As the head of psychological assessment services for a world-wide military program, a military hospital's department of pediatrics, and a pediatric hospital, Dr. Watson evaluated hundreds of children and families. While serving as a university and medical school professor, she conducted scientific research and published scholarly papers on child development, ADHD, special education, psychiatric drug use, trauma, patient and hospital safety, medical ethics, and other topics. She was among the first to document the overuse of ADHD drugs and effective community-based strategies to reduce the need for psychiatric labels and drugs among American youth. Dr. Watson has appeared on national TV and radio programs such as The PBS News Hour, CBN, CNN, and NPR. Her work has been discussed in popular magazines and newspapers across the U.S. and overseas.  

Today, Dr. Watson uses her experience to serve not only to individuals but also to healthcare entities, businesses, and community organizations. She continues to publish and speak publicly on child development and the challenges of the modern mental health care treatment paradigm. She runs a private consulting practice in Virginia Beach.

Odette Wilkens, a technology transactional attorney for over 20 years, co-founded The National Call for Safe Technology where she is Chair & General Counsel. The National Call (thenationalcall.org), a coalition with our partners reaching over 2 million Americans across the country, advocates for safe communications networks for phone and Internet access. After seeing that many people across the country were being injured and disabled by wireless radiation from cell towers, “smart” meters and other wireless devices, Odette co-founded the National Call with Virginians for Safe Technology. She also co-founded Wired Broadband, Inc., a non-profit based in New York also advocating for safe communications networks where she is also Chair & General Counsel. In 2024, Odette was appointed to the Communications Equity & Diversity Council at the Federal Communications Commission on bridging the digital divide for those without access to broadband, and she served in a volunteer capacity. Odette graduated from Brooklyn Law School, and holds an MBA in Finance from Stern at New York University, and B.A. from Barnard College affiliated with Columbia University.
